Xiaomi 14T Series Spotted on IMDA with Key Specs and Launch Details

The much-awaited Xiaomi 14T Series which include the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro is to be launched globally as both the smartphones have already surfaced on several certification platforms. After appearing on Geekbench a few days ago with the vanilla Xiaomi 14T seen bearing model number 2406APNFAG, the series has now been listed at Indonesia Telecom certification (via GimmeDigital) confirming that it is very close to release. The Xiaomi 13T Series was announced back in September last year and the new series will follow it up. What's more, the Xiaomi 14T Pro looks to go global as a rebadged Redmi K70 Ultra — updated with better cameras over its Chinese counterpart.

Xiaomi 14T Pro is coming

The Xiaomi 13T Series left some fans wanting more, especially when compared to the previous Xiaomi 12T Series. The vibrant display and rapid charging capabilities of the 12T were sorely missed in the 13T lineup, with the only significant upgrade being an enhanced camera system. However, Xiaomi is aiming to turn things around with the upcoming 14T Series, which is shaping up to be a major release, with launches anticipated in August and September.

Adding to the excitement, the Xiaomi 14T Pro has already made its presence known on the IMEI database, sporting the model numbers “2407FPN8EG” for the global variant and “2407FPN8ER” for the Japanese market. This points to a broader regional launch, including Japan. Meanwhile, a separate model number, “2407FRK8EC,” has been linked to the Chinese variant, which is expected to debut as the Redmi K70 Ultra. Although there might be slight differences in features, both versions are expected to share many similarities, especially in terms of core specifications.

Now, with the model appearing more often on a host of certification platforms together it certainly seems like we could see exactly that very soon. The Xiaomi 14T is one of the software updates spotted on Indonesia Telecom certification and Singapore's IMDA to reveal that it could become official soon. Obviously the Xiaomi 14T will be positioned as standard model, providing a more affordable alternative with slightly down-spiced hardware compared to proficient version -Xiaomi 14T Pro.

Xiaomi is very much bringing it when it comes to new releases and the 14T series is expected to right any wrongs of its predecessor, as well as introduce some brand-new innovations at least in terms of display tech and charging speeds. With the magnitude of heartbeats increasing as we draw nearer to its official debut, more certifications and leaks are circulating which alone comprehensively brings Xiaomi fans in a state where they hold--as it appears that with 14T Series this is what rest assured.

Powerful Performance Confirmed by Geekbench Listings

The Xiaomi 14T Pro has recently been spotted on Geekbench, where it has been confirmed to feature the latest Dimensity 9300+ processor. This high-performance chipset is expected to deliver blazing-fast speeds, making it one of the most powerful devices in its segment. The standard Xiaomi 14T, on the other hand, will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, boasting a base clock speed of 2.20GHz. According to the Geekbench 4 results, the Xiaomi 14T achieved an impressive 4,389 points in the single-core test and 15,043 points in the multi-core test. These figures suggest that both models will offer robust performance, with the Pro variant clearly catering to power users.

Camera Enhancements and Superior Low-Light Performance

The key feature of the Xiaomi 14T Pro, which distinguishes it from its peers, is expected to be an advanced camera configuration. The leaks indicate the smartphone will have a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, an f/1.6 aperture lens and pixel binning technology. It should perform particularly well in low-light photography and be able to shoot stable, sharp and precise images on-demand regardless of the conditions. Other leaks point to a Pro model with triple cameras — the handset may have a 50MP Omnivision OV50H main sensor, as well as another 13MP Omnvivion ultrawide lens and an extra-high-resolution telephoto unit from Samsung (a theoretical IMX708 for this role). More, this is a big upgrade from the last Xiaomi 13T Pro, which also had three cameras but with varied specs.

Global Availability and Speculated Launch Regions

While the Xiaomi 14T Series is generating significant buzz globally, its availability might be more limited in certain markets. The Xiaomi 13T Series didn’t launch in India, and there’s speculation that the 14T Series might also skip this market. This is likely because Xiaomi already offers the 14 Civi and Xiaomi 14 as premium options, alongside the Redmi Note 13 lineup in the mid-range segment. However, the 14T Pro has been spotted on the IMEI database with different model numbers for global and regional variants, suggesting a wider international release, including Japan and other regions. The potential absence in some markets might lead to increased demand for the device in areas where it is available.

Comparing the Xiaomi 14T Pro with Its Predecessors

The Xiaomi 14T Pro is expected to build at the strengths of the Xiaomi 13T Pro whilst addressing a number of its shortcomings. For example, at the same time as the 13T Pro’s camera setup changed into incredible, the 14T Pro is tipped to provide even better optics with its new sensor array. The inclusion of a 50MP number one digicam, supported by using ultra-extensive and telephoto lenses, reflects Xiaomi’s commitment to turning in advanced imaging competencies. Additionally, with the improved performance from the Dimensity 9300 processor, the Xiaomi 14T Pro is poised to be a big upgrade over the previous era, attractive to both photography fans and electricity users alike.

As Xiaomi gears up for another impactful release, the new 14T Series promises to deliver advanced technology and refined features, catering to tech enthusiasts seeking high-performance smartphones without venturing into the top-tier flagship territory. Considering the way Xiaomi has released models—Xiaomi 11T Series in September 2021, Xiaomi 12T Series in October 2022 and likely also with a similar pattern for the upcoming releases of its Mi series—the next year we should be seeing this model draw near as well could be around that time at either September or October sometime. Although an official premiere date has not been announced, the buzz on this series is swarming in at what feels like 100 miles per hour; This could be one of the biggest releases of the year when it arrives and This timeline keeps the excitement alive as we await Xiaomi’s next big unveiling.
