As just yesterday FuntouchOS 15 which is based on Android 15 has been officially launched, this new update has been seen in Vivo X100 series and in this way Vivo has defeated Samsung and Google in this race and now Vivo is bringing a new series to us, Vivo X200 series which is the result of the good performance of Vivo X100. In the last blog itself, we shared some information about this new phone of Vivo with you and today we are going to share all those information of the same phone with you. Whether it is about the camera of the phone or the design of the phone, we will know all that in this blog and along with all this, we will also give you the information when the phone is going to be released, so definitely read the entire blog.
So let's get started and start with the design of this new phone, the design of the Vivo X200 was shared on Weibo by the brand's product manager Han Boxiao, who also revealed its back design last week. According to previous leaks, the Vivo X200 is expected to have a compact 6.3-inch display. However, teasers show that the phone is similar in size to the Vivo X100, which has a 6.78-inch display. A 'mini' model is rumored, so this device could also happen. Along with all this, the Vivo X200 is making a notable change in design, now it has flat edges just like the Galaxy S24 series. This change is a departure from the curved edges and display of its predecessor, giving the X200 a new, modern look. On the front, the phone has a flat display with ultra-thin bezels, which enhances its sleek aesthetic. The metal frame also shows visible antenna bands along the edges, which enhances the premium feel. Interestingly, while the standard X200 will come with a flat screen, rumours indicate that the X200 Pro could retain the signature curved display from the previous model. By the way, you can see the design of the phone in this image below.
The above image showcases the ultra-narrow bezels and the innovative micro-quad-curved design of the X200. The design is unique enough, combining the experience of a flat screen with a curved screen-to-give an elegant look. The X200 promises grip better with its flat edges. When we place the X200 along with the X100, it is shaped to appear more premium and unique.
In terms of colours, the Vivo X200 will launch in two confirmed options: a blue variant with a wave-like pattern and a white model with a textured back. However, speculations indicate the possibility of additional colours including Titanium and Midnight Black.
Talking about the screen of the phone, the vanilla Vivo X200 will have a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED LTPO 1.5K display, while the Pro variant will have a 6.7 or 6.8-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO micro-curved screen. In terms of processor, both phones are expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. In terms of battery, the Vivo X200 can have a 5,600mAh battery with 90W wired charging, while the X200 Pro can get a bigger 6,000mAh battery. Meaning both phones are ready for gaming or Netflix and chill.
Just like the Vivo X100 series, the X200 also has a large circular camera model. The X200 is expected to feature a 50MP OIS primary camera, an ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 70mm periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, while the Pro model could get a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor. Also, earlier teasers have also confirmed ZEISS branding for the cameras of the X200.
The Vivo X200 series, no doubt will be packaged with some seriously impressive features, such as IP68 or IP69 rating of water and dust, ensuring survival for tough situations. Again, devices are likely to include optical as well as ultrasonic fingerprint sensors so that users may instantly unlock their smartphones with very high security. In summary, all of these features add an appeal to the X200 series for being a premium smartphone choice.
Just as the year is ending, many of the best tech launches haven't yet materialized. For starters, in the coming days, before the year closes, there will be new launches of iQOO 13, OnePlus 13, and new M4 Macs. Of these, one such launch whose details are out and will likely be launched in China on October 14th, comprises the Vivo X200 series, perhaps the Vivo X200 Pro and an alleged Vivo X200 Mini. It will probably go global next. Though not yet officially announced, speculations suggest the Vivo X200 series may hit the Indian market even this January, following in its predecessor's footsteps, the X100 series.
