The mid-segment Vivo V50 Lite may be about to release soon. This budget smartphone, which is rumored to be a low-cost variant of the Vivo V50, has already been spotted on several certification websites, revealing important hardware details. Now, the potential 4G variant of the Vivo V50 Lite has surfaced on the Google Play Console listing, indicating once again that its release is near.

As per a report by Xpertpick, the Google Play Console listing indicates the model number 'Vivo V2441', which confirms the marketing name: Vivo V50 Lite. This model is likely to be the 4G variant of the smartphone, whereas the Vivo V50 Lite (model number V2440) is expected to be the 5G variant.
Importantly, Vivo went down the same route with Vivo V40 Lite, which arrived in both 4G and 5G flavors.
Vivo V50 Lite 4G Design and Display
The Vivo V50 Lite 4G's design has been unveiled by a render on the Google Play Console listing. The phone has a contemporary and minimalist design with high-end aesthetics.
Beginning with the front aesthetics, the phone boasts a big FHD+ display that measures 2392 x 1080 pixels, providing a crisp and vibrant visual experience. It has a centrally located punch-hole cutout for the front camera, adding to the immersive viewing experience with slim bezels framed around the screen. Turning to the side view, the volume rocker and power button are housed on the right edge of the device, placing them in a convenient and ergonomic position for single-handed use.

Turning over to the back panel, the Vivo V50 Lite 4G boasts an elongated oval-shaped camera module that conveys a modern look. Two rear cameras lie within this module, positioned within two distinct circular rings. Most interestingly, the cutout of the main camera sensor looks marginally wider, suggesting that the phone houses an improved primary sensor for more capable photography features.
In addition, the render indicates that Vivo has included its own Aura LED flash, which would potentially help improve low-light photography and give an added professional look to photographs. Speaking of colors, the listing shows a beautiful gold-colored model, but Vivo can possibly launch with various color options depending on the consumer preferences.
Vivo V50 Lite 4G Processor and Performance
The Vivo V50 Lite 4G will provide a silky and effective performance due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The robust processor is intended to offer the balance of performance and power savings, and therefore is well suited for a mid-tier smartphone. The processor comprises a mix of four high-performance ARM Cortex-A73 cores with 2.4GHz frequency and four power-sipping ARM Cortex-A53 cores with 1.9GHz frequency. This configuration provides effortless multitasking, jerky-free switching between apps, and a consistent overall experience for casual users.
For graphics processing, onboard is the Adreno 610 GPU, which will render visuals smoothly, whether you are playing games, streaming, or editing multimedia. The Vivo V50 Lite 4G is available with an 8GB RAM version, which should be more than sufficient for multiple app usage without lag. But Vivo might release other RAM versions at the launch to meet different user requirements.
Software-wise, the smartphone will be operating on the new Android 15 OS, along with Vivo's trademark Funtouch OS 15. This custom skin is bound to deliver richer features, better security updates, and an optimized user interface, providing a smooth and easy-to-use experience for Vivo consumers.

Vivo V50 Lite 4G Battery and Charging
Recent news indicates that the Vivo V50 Lite 4G has managed to obtain FCC certification, which has uncovered interesting information regarding its battery and charging. Perhaps the most striking improvement is its enormous 6,500mAh battery, a considerable boost over the previous model's 5,000mAh battery. This bigger battery should give users more screen time to enjoy, making the experience more long-lasting whether streaming, gaming, or multitasking all day.
In addition to this, the phone will be able to use 90W fast charging, which is far better than the 80W fast charging present in the Vivo V40 Lite. This ensures that users are able to use their phone in a shorter span of time since charging will happen at a rapid pace. As a result of this high capacity battery and very fast charging ability, the Vivo V50 Lite 4G will provide users with an experience that is glitch-free and never interrupted.
Storage Options
The Google Play Console listing also indicates that the Vivo V50 Lite 4G will come with a 256GB internal storage option, ensuring ample space for apps, media, and files.
