Realme is set to expand its popular Narzo series with the launch of the Narzo 70 Turbo 5G in India, scheduled for September 9 at 12 PM IST. The device, which is already listed on Amazon, boasts a Motorsport-inspired design and several impressive specifications, making it one of the most anticipated budget-friendly 5G smartphones of the year.
Design and Display
The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G is likely to have a stylish design with a bold black and yellow color combination. The yellow vertical stripe down the center of the rear, gives it a sporty, youthful look. In addition, the squircle camera module features a 50 MP (megapixel) triple-camera setup.
On the front of the device, there is a flat 6.67 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate which is ideal for gaming, multimedia, or other tasks, and creates a smooth scrolling experience. Furthermore, the device has thin bezels around the display, with a thicker chin at the bottom, and the front camera is a punch-hole cutout located centrally at the top.
Performance and Power
At the heart of the Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G will be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, which promises strong performance while maintaining efficiency. This is the same chipset used in Realme's recently launched Realme 13+ 5G smartphone, known for handling heavy tasks, gaming, and multitasking with ease. The handset also boasts an AnTuTu score of 7,50,000, hinting at high-level performance in its category.
Camera and Audio Features
The 50MP triple-camera setup on the rear is expected to come with electronic image stabilization (EIS), allowing users to capture crisp and steady images even in challenging conditions. We do not know everything about the camera's full specifications but it is likely that the arrangement will feature macro and ultra-wide lenses to give more varied photographic capabilities. An 8MP front camera could also be available for selfies.
The Narzo 70 Turbo will also provide the sound a huge audiophile would expect with dual speakers as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack for excellent sound with either wired or wireless headphones.
One of the highlights of the Narzo 70 Turbo 5G is its sleek design. Despite packing powerful hardware, the device will be just 7.6mm thick and weigh 185 grams, making it comfortable to hold and easy to carry. The power button and volume rocker are located on the right side, adding to the sleek look, while a speaker grille and 3.5mm headphone jack are positioned at the top.
RAM, Storage, and Colors
Realme plans to offer a variety of RAM and storage configurations, including 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB RAM + storage options, giving viewers the freedom to choose the one's best. This phone will also run on Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, to give viewers the advantage of the latest software features and security updates.
The Narzo 70 Turbo 5G will also come in yellow, green, and purple, with these lively colors intended to attract the attention of a younger consumer base and more stylish audience.
The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G appears to be a formidable entry into the mid-range smartphone space, following the footsteps of its predecessor by integrating a striking aesthetic, a high refresh rate AMOLED panel, performance, and multi-camera options. With its Motorsport-inspired aesthetic complementing Realme’s much-appreciated design & performance priorities, we’re confident it will accrue interest in the lead-up to launch on September 9.
