According to the report, this phone will be launched on June 13 this month and One of the Pro models could arrive as a rebranded version of another smartphone (OPPO A3)that was recently launched by the company in China. The company's upcoming Oppo F27 Pro is also said to be the first smartphone in India to debut with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. However, the company has not yet made any official announcement about the device.
According to a post made by Mukul Sharma on X, we will get to see this phone from June 13. The poster shared by Mukul Sharma shows that the OPPO F27 Pro + 5G will be launched with two color options. These include blue and pink and with this, these latest phones will be introduced with a leather back design. Another thing Mukul has told is that Oppo can give IP66, IP68 or IP69 rating to its upcoming smartphone, but it is not clear which phone will get which rating. We can expect more clarity on multiple IP ratings for the handset when the company launches it later this month. The smartphone series is also expected to include the Oppo F27 Pro and a standard Oppo F27 model.
The design of the smartphone in the poster posted by Mukul shows that the Oppo F27 Pro + looks similar to another smartphone Oppo A3 Pro launched in China last month. The Oppo A3 Pro is the company's first phone in China to launch with an IP69 rating, so it is likely that the Oppo F27 will also have the same rating, if that happens, then this phone will be the first IP69 rated phone in India. Talking about the design, it includes a circular rear camera module placed in the middle of the upper half of the rear panel, as well as the two colorways shown in the poster, which we have also seen on several other devices this year.
According to GSMarena, the Oppo F27 Pro or Oppo F27 Pro + can be given Dimensity 7050 chipset, which can be given 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone has a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone has a 5,000mAh Li-ion battery that will support 67W SuperVOOC charging.
According to many rumors, the OPPO F27 Pro will have a 6.72-inch AMOLED display. Apart from this, the display will have a 120Hz refresh rate and 394 ppi pixel density. Along with these, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max processing chip. It will also run by Android v14.
The OPPO F27 Pro is expected to have an SD card slot for up to 2TB memory cards. You will also get to see an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It will support face recognition. Rumors suggested that it will have a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera and a 32MP front camera. You will be able to use 5G networks and insert dual nano-sized SIMs.
