Nothing is all set to introduce its next-generation smartphones on March 4th, and speculation is already running wild about what the brand has in store. While the company hasn't officially confirmed the name, Flipkart's teasers hint at the launch of the Nothing Phone (3a), a successor to the Nothing Phone (2a). However, new leaks suggest that Nothing might be introducing not one, but two, smartphones at this event: the Nothing Phone (3a), and the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. These new leaks also outline the specifications about their design along with the presumed price.

Nothing’s Next Smartphones
This will be fantastic news for all the Nothing enthusiasts as a brand-new leak comes courtesy of reputable leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore and Android Headlines, with them revealing to the world exactly what the company is preparing with regard to their next smartphones:
Nothing Phone (3a) – the standard model
Nothing Phone (3a) Pro – a more premium variant
Interestingly, there is no news of a Nothing Phone (3a) Plus that could confirm that the Phone (3a) Pro will directly succeed the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus. Assuming this leak is correct, Nothing may be simplifying its product line by cutting it to two rather than three.
And here’s the best part – these smartphones are expected to be available globally, including in India! That means fans across different regions can look forward to getting their hands on these upcoming devices.
Nothing Phone (3a) Design Leaks
A leaked hands-on image of the alleged Nothing Phone (3a) has appeared online on X (formerly Twitter). But the phone is covered with a hard case, probably to avoid revealing anything ahead of the official announcement. Yet, through the cover, one major design upgrade stands out: a triple-camera setup arranged horizontally, with an LED flash module above the camera module.
This is contrary to a recent teaser video posted by Nothing, which showed a vertical camera setup. Since the leaked image is not an official confirmation, it is advisable to take this with a grain of salt.
Nothing Phone (3a) Specifications (Expected)
Recent rumors and leaks seem to promise an exciting update on the Nothing Phone (3a) over its predecessor, the Nothing Phone (2a). Although Nothing has not yet come out publicly about these details, tipsters are claiming that this will bring forward progress in each and every aspect- display, performance, cameras, and battery life- as far as the Phone (3a) is concerned. Here's what we might expect from Nothing's next mid-range offering.
A Bigger & Smoother Display
Nothing appears to be incrementally growing the Phone (3a)'s screen, where a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel awaits for its job. That's a small increase from the display, which measures 6.7-inch on the Phone (2a). Still, every small increment in screen real estate is a win for gaming and media consumption. The 120Hz refresh rate is expected to carry over into this device, providing silky-smooth scrolling and a fluid user experience.
Upgraded Performance with Qualcomm Chipset
Under the hood, things could be much different. The Nothing Phone (2a) was powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7200 Pro. However, in the case of the Phone (3a), it is reported to be driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This could help bring better efficiency, improved graphics performance, and an overall smoother experience for the users who love gaming or multitasking.
Cameras
Photography enthusiasts may be glad to hear that the Nothing Phone (3a) may be blessed with a major camera upgrade. The dual-camera setup may thus finally be done away with in the Phone (2a) and replaced with a new, exciting triple-lens system.
50MP Primary Sensor – Likely with OIS for sharp and stable shots
50MP 2x Telephoto Lens – A new addition, great for zoom and portrait photography
8MP Ultra-Wide Lens – For capturing landscapes and group shots
The front camera remains a 32MP sensor, the same as on the Phone (2a), ensuring high-quality selfies and smooth video calls.
Latest Software & Better Battery Life
On the software front, the Nothing Phone (3a) will reportedly come running on Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.1, which brings you all the new Android features plus Nothing's signature minimal UI.
Battery life appears to be good, too, via a 5,000mAh battery that should hold good until the end of the day. Then there is 45W wired charging support, so you won't need to stay up all night for a full recharge.
Additional Features
The great news for all fans is that the Phone (3a) will retain its Glyph LED Interface, which now has become the signature feature for the brand. The phone would also support NFC, allowing people to make payments without contact, and devices pair quickly.
With all the rumored upgrades, Nothing Phone (3a) is shaping up to be a solid mid-range contender. Only time will tell how accurate the leaks are in Nothing's announcement, but this much is for sure: Nothing is continuing its refinement of smartphone lineup with meaningful upgrades!
Expected Pricing and Availability
Nothing is known for its competitive pricing, and if history repeats, the new models should fall in a similar price range as their predecessors:
Nothing Phone (2a): Launched in India at Rs 23,999
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus: Priced at Rs 27,999
Given these numbers, we can expect the Nothing Phone (3a) to be priced between Rs 24,000 – Rs 27,000 and the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro to be priced slightly higher, around Rs 30,000 – Rs 32,000.
The Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro are looking to be quite exciting additions to the smartphone market. With a bigger display, an upgraded Snapdragon processor, a triple-camera setup, and a larger battery, the new models promise significant improvements over their predecessors.
While leaks give an idea of what to expect, the final word will only be on March 4th, when Nothing formally unveils the devices. Catch the official launch event and the complete specifications, availability, and pricing details soon!
